Choosing Duplicate Boards in CSV Generation

There are two options when uploading with CSV and selecting boards with the same number. 

1. Type the board name: If you have multiple boards with the same title (for example, a personal board and a group board), the CSV upload will match all boards with that name. This means you can pin to both simply by entering the board name in the selectedBoards column, just like before. 
2. Use a board ID for exact targeting: If you ever want to post to only one specific board when there are duplicates, you can use the board’s ID instead of the board name in the selectedBoards column. 

How to find a board ID (generic steps):

• Open the board on Pinterest.
• Access the board’s advanced or developer view (often labeled something like “Browse user console”, “Developer tools”, or advanced settings).
• Look for the long numeric value associated with the board — this is the board ID.
• Copy that number and paste it into the selectedBoards column in your CSV.

For most users, you won’t need to use board IDs at all — entering the board name will select all boards with that name automatically. The ID option is there only if you want extra precision or to pin to a single board.
