How do pin credits work on Pin Generator?

Generating pins alone will not cost you any credits unless you download, schedule, or use any of the AI functions on the pin.

You consume a credit when you perform one of the following actions:

Images: Pinning, scheduling and downloading - uses 1 pin credit

Videos: Pinning, scheduling and downloading - uses 5 pin credits

AI text writing: uses 0.5 pin credit

AI alt text writing: uses 2 pin credits

AI image generation: uses 12 pin credits

Please note that scheduling a pin to more than one board will result in more than one credit being used. For example, if you schedule to three boards, it will use three credits.

Credits do not roll over, and they are reset on your payment date or after 30 days, whichever comes first.

Credits when running an Automation

When an automation runs, it only consumes credits for the AI functionality it uses. That means:
- 0.5 credits for a title
- 0.5 credits for a description (to generate text)
- 12 credits per AI image you want to generate

Those credits are consumed when the automation batches run, which helps cover the costs of the AI functions.

These are all optional functions, and if you'd like to turn them off, you can. If you do turn them all off, then the automation will not use any credits when run.

When you schedule, download or post directly to Pinterest for the pins created by the automation batch, you will use:
- 1 credit per pin

If you have chosen to generate alt text, that will use 2 credits per pin.
